A few weeks ago, I went to check on Mila before I went to bed, and I thought it was so funny that she had managed to take off her pajamas. I had to take a picture, but the joke was on me because I didn't realize that she had managed to take off her pull-up too. She woke me up at about 1 am because she was soaking wet. I had to change her and all the sheets and most of the blankets. What a night.

Pigtails and Puppy Dogs

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. However, I just turned in my appellate brief, so after I catch up on sleep, I might be able to catch up on blogging. Here are some pictures from last month. I have been trying to fix Mila's hair more, and the other day I did manage braids, but after sitting on my lap in chirch they were completely gone. I got some hints from my friend Amy, and so I have been trying to get better at dealing with all of her hair.

Ready for church.

Mila loves her Woofie and I was trying to get a picture of her hair(I got it pulled back halfway-- what an accomplishment!) and she just decided to pose like this. So sweet. I think she realizes it is easier to just pose so I will take the picture and then leave her alone.

Visiting with Friends

A great thing about going home for Christmas was getting to see friends who were also in town for the holidays. I was able to see people I haven't seen in a while so it was great to catch up.

Me and Mila and the Gibbs- Emily, Ruby, Tyler and Stella. They came over the day I left. Mila and Ruby are only about 2 months apart so they had fun playing dress up.

Beautiful Stella Gibb. She is so cute, and Tyler loved showing us how she says, "Da Da." It was adorable.

Princesses coloring.

Me and Emily and our little girls all dressed up.

I also got to see my best friend from High School- Cecilia. We ate her mom's delicious food and played Wii. Mila loves Wii bowling.

I also went to the Lows and visited Tara and Justin and their new baby Daphne. Unfortunately, Daphne was tired and had to go nap before I could get a picture of her. Tara and I haven't seen each other since we moved from Austin... so about 2 1/2 years. It was great to see them again.

Cousin Time

My cousins Elena and Patti made the trip down to see us on Sunday Night(the 28th). We hung out and played games. It was great to have them visit...and they brought two bags of stuff we left at my Grandma's house.

The highlight for Mila was getting her fingernails and toenails painted. She was so excited and she sat so still for Elena. This was a special treat for her.

She chose pink of course.
Squeezing in the car to go to Qdoba.

Christmas at Home- Dec 27th

We got back from Chicago late on Dec. 26th and had our family Christmas on the 27th. Mila got a lot of dress up clothes and had to try everything on. I can't complain about all the princess stuff because she loves it so much. She is so sweet.

Talking on her phone!

What a smiley happy face!

The boys got socks(and some other stuff) but they were both pretty excited about socks. I guess that is what happens when you grow up and move away from home.

Christmas Day

We spent Christmas Morning in Aurora with my Aunt and Uncle and then we went to Chicago and met up with the Munguia side of the family. We ate so much and hung out with our family. I am so grateful to everyone for making the Christmas so great.

Mila and Uncle Michael.

The girls wanted to help blow up the inflatable castle. Luckily, my uncle Rick took over with the air pump.

Cute girls.
The air pump was loud. So they were covering their ears.
At my Grandma's house. Mila was the only little one there, so she was the center of attention. Notice eleven people gathered around watching her. My aunts and cousins spoiled her...she has a new wardrobe now! We are so lucky to have such a generous family. Mila had to put on new clothes after she opened them.

New socks and lots of wrapping paper!

Christmas Eve

We spent the 23rd and 24th with my Aunt Marisol and her family. Mila had an absolute blast. My cousing Emme is seven months older than her and they had so much fun playing together. We had dinner on Christmas Eve and the kids opened a few presents.

Emme, Olivia, Mila and Ezra--cute cousins!

Snuggling up on Emme's new pillow.

Dad and Mila in funny hats.

Me and my mom.

The kids playing with their new toys.

Mila and Emme got new pajamas and had to change into them the second they opened them.

Mila couldn't wait to finish opening the present. She had to check it out.

It is a puppy!

Me and Joe!

Emme and Mila had to sleep together. So cute and exhausted after playing all day!
